How to Write Notes for Business Holiday Cards
It is quite a tradition for many business owners to send specialized holiday cards to their customers, business partners and employees. Each year, companies use these
business holiday cards as a tool in staying at the top of their past customers' minds, strengthen their business relationship with target clients, and give their utmost appreciation to their current clients.
Although many companies choose cards that are preprinted, it will always be a good choice to put one's personal touch into the card rather than just writing a simple and generic "Happy Holidays" on it. Thoughtful and appropriate business greeting cards are fairly simple to make.
Decide for the mailing date. Mailing date for business holiday cards should be planned beforehand. One must create his or her writing schedule to make sure that he or she will be able to meet the allotted deadline. Never try to finish writing in all cards for just a day. Doing this will prohibit you from taking your time in thinking for the best personalized and unique messages into your card.
Formal greetings are preferred. Use "Dear" instead of "To". If you know the first name of the recipient of the card, better use it for a more personalized thought. For those people whom you do not know personally, a "Mr", "Ms" or "Mrs" plus the last name of the person will do.
Make use of personalized notes hand written in ink. Keep your notes brief and simple. Never try to sell anything in the holiday card that you will be giving.
Express your wishes and gratitude appropriately. A holiday card recipient will be more than happy to receive a holiday card that will uplift their spirit. Most of the time, simple messages of gratitude from business companies for doing business deal with them already means a lot for them. "Thank You" messages are always appropriate in this kind of occasion. For those people whom you don't know enough, use phrases like "May the gift of hope for the holiday season may always be yours all year" to avoid offending them.
Write the company name with a signature above a business head's name. Include a note inside your business holiday card for a more personalized look on it. More people will be able to recognize a company's holiday card with the use of their company logo, so it will also be proper to include a company logo on your card.
Since the holiday season is already into our midst, start preparing for the holiday card that your company will be sending to customers, employees and business affiliates. Holidays will be the proper time to give them your best wishes and gratitude over all the years of partnership with your company.
Tips in Buying:
In purchasing holiday cards for your company, better pick high-quality stock paper and never ever buy cards that contain controversial messages such as political and off-the-course humors. This will help you get your company's reputation high and avoid letting down their customer's expectations.

Why Can't I Mail a Letter to China?
Hello,
I'm a student pilot and high school student who recently created a small aircraft trading card business as a school project and as a way to pay for flight lessons. To create my trading cards I contacted several photographers from a variety of countries, and got permission to use their photos. To thank them, I am sending them each a pack of the trading cards. However, one of the photographers I contacted lives in China (Beijing) and although I have tried twice, I cannot seem to mail him a pack of the cards. I have the address written in English, but I was given the address by the photographer as such. What am I doing wrong? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
